Our Process

Every student is unique, which is why at Northlight we tailor our process to each student. The ultimate goal is always the best fit. Here are the steps we take together to achieve this:

  • Together we will build a school list that is tailored to the student’s needs.

  • We will strategize for tours and events to help the student learn about the various options.

  • We provide coaching and support for the application process, including the essays, standardized testing, financial aid forms (if applicable), and interviews.

  • We help strategize for early decision (if applicable) and/or first choice letters and other demonstrated interest.

  • We provide support for the waitlist process (if applicable)

  • Finally, we provide support in evaluating the options and making the best choice for the student.
